PowerPoint 2003 Highlighter

During a slide show the pen can be selected with CTRL+P and revert to the
arrow with CTRL+A. Is there any similar keyboard shortcut for the
highlighter to avoid selecting the highlighter from the popup menu which is
disruptive during a slide show and also takes longer.

Unfortunately not. To see all the available shortcuts, press F1 when in
slide show view.
