Hi Newsgroup!
I have an issue that I can't resolve.
I have a powerpoint presentation that I send to multiple users.
Inside this presentation is excel 2003 file links - to display the
excel data tables (extracts from a worksheet) - inserted using copy/
paste link.
Users have access to the excel file to update the data that they are
accountable for. What we would like to happen is for the powerpoint
file to update automatically (i.e. using update links not a manual
copy paste). This works fine in PPT2003 but when we convert the
powerpoint file to 2000 and the 2000 user updates the links, the last
two columns of every excel table are truncated.
I could try and use an VBA import but thoguth there might be an easier
solution.
Copying the file manaually isn't an option I'm afraid.
Thanks!
Colly.
