Version: 2004
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC
I am running PowerPoint 2004 for Mac, v 11.5.1 under Mac OS X, v 10.5.4 (aka Leopard) on a PowerPC PowerBook G4.
When creating a presentation, if I type [Command][Delete], PowerPoint freezes with the spinning disk. The only recourse is to kill the process.
Here's the rub: the hang was happening repeatably until I went to post this note. ("Murphy's law in reverse" is in effect: "if something can go right at the wrong time, it will...") At this moment, I cannot reproduce the bug.
Has anyone else noticed this? Has anyone refined the conditions that make this repeatable? And (most importantly) has anyone identified a fix?
Many thanks.
