powerpoint 2004 kills palette locations on multiple monitors

Anyone else see this?

Have a mac running os x and more than one monitor hooked to it (one
monitor for work and one for the palettes of graphic applications - a very
common setup on the Mac).

Open a ppt lecture and view it on screen. You'll see the working file, notes,
slides on the left monitor and the slide show on the right. Works great!

Escape out of the talk and go to photoshop to fix a graphic file or illustrator
to create one. Whoops all of the palettes you took so much time to move
over to the right monitor are now on the left monitor! Ummmm no I don't
think so microsoft!

This will not do...

Anyone know of a fix? Besides not upgrading 100 users to office 2004?

This had to be an issue in beta testing!
