Am copying graphics drawn using PowerPoint 2004 and then do a "Paste
Special" as "Picture" into Word X, 2003 (PC), or 98. However, graphics
drawn with free-form line drawing or round cornered rectangles do not
copy well. The lines appear far thicker in Word X or Word 2003 (PC)
than they are in the original PowerPoint. When I perform the same
operation with the exact same file in PowerPoint X, 2003, or 98,
everything is cool. So, there is something that is not converting the
graphics in a way that is compatible to non-Word 2004 documents. (In
Word 2004, everything appears OK.) Since there is no compatibility
function like Word has, I am stymied. Any ideas?
Thanks.
P.S. The distortion is paticularly prevalent when the line "weight"
exceeds 1, but even present and .5
