Powerpoint 2007 Assign tag to objects

Hello,

I need to develop a utility from which use can assign unique tag/name to
objects. Like user open file and select a Table object then he can assign a
uniqe name to that table and so on.

this tag/name should be unique into the file.

I am thinking to develop an Add-In for that. Can any sugget me the best way?

Also how this can be achieved using Add-in.
