PowerPoint 2007 - Edit Color Schemes - now Color Theme

In PowerPoint 2007, how do I edit an existing customized Color theme that
exisits in a specific presenation file.
Scenario: I open up a PP presenation in 2007 and select a specific slide and
go to the Color themes under the Design Tab.
Whichever slide I am on, that specific Color Theme is at the top. I can
select but can't edit it.
Note: I can edit other custom made Color Themes by doing a right click >
edit. But even if it is a customized color theme, it does not let me edit it
if it's not a permanent color theme in my PowerPoint.
Do I really have to Save it/create as a Color Theme, in order to edit it?

Thanks

Yes. You can't edit the existing color schemes that ship with PPT 2007. So
you must essentially copy the color scheme, which you do by choosing Create
New Color Scheme at the bottom of the colors gallery on the Design tab. Then
you can edit that scheme and give it a new name.

Here are specifics -- I just typed these up to be added to the PPT FAQ about
changing hyperlink/followed hyperlink colors:

1. Choose Design tab | Colors | Create New Theme Colors
2. Click the Hyperlink color and choose More Colors.
3. Input RGB values (or select from the color honeycomb) and click OK.
4. Click the Followed Hyperlink color and choose More Colors
5. Input RGB values (or select from the color honeycomb) and click OK.
6. Name your color scheme
7. Click Save

The color scheme now shows up on Design tab | Colors in the Custom section.
If you need to edit it further, right-click the scheme and choose Edit.

Apply the scheme to your slides by right-clicking the color scheme in Design
tab | Colors and choosing Apply to All Slides or Apply to Selected Slides.
