powerpoint 2007 home screen pops up in front of slide show

every time i open a prsentation after about 3-5 minutes the home screen of
powerpoint (when you sort out your slides ) pops up in front of the slide
show, and a resume slides window pops up. how can i fix this?

What program is grabbing the focus away from PowerPoint every 3-5 minutes?
This is typical behavior for when another program becomes active. Do you
have a virus scanner? Which?
