PowerPoint 2007 hyperlink failure

Vista; Office 2007 but saving as PPT 1997-2003.

I am creating an interactive powerpoint kiosk presentation. I built the
first half (about 65 slides) by creating a new blank slide and then inserting
text boxes, pictures, action buttons, and hyperlinks as needed. I even have
a few VBA scripts that I run. All is good. I tested it and everything works
as it should.

Then when I sat down to create the second half and thought, "I should try to
use a master slide with text boxes as I want them." So, I created a master
slide and
used it to put in my content, hyperlinks and action buttons. The action
buttons are working fine. However, whenever I try to assign a hyperlink to
text, it assigns but then won't work when I view the presentation. If I
create a VBA script that simply goes to the slide I want, it works.

I can assign an action to text but a hyperlink won't work. Yet, a hyperlink
works with a button.

Needless to say, I am befuddled. Can you offer any help?

I am happy to go back to not using a master slide, but I hate to lose all of
the work I have invested in slides 65 through 114.

I know that I can create a VBA script for each hyperlink I need, but would
rather not have to do that.

Thanks,
Shep

I found my answer in the post "Subject: RE: PowerPoint 2000 Hyperlink
frustration"

It is the commas in the slide title. Power point doesn't like them. When I
started using the master slide, my heading was in the title section and, so,
had commas in the slide title. Similar headings on slides when I was
starting with a blank slide and inserting a text box were not in the title
and, therefore worked fine. Thanks to the posters and web page
