PowerPoint 2007 not displayin what I'm writing

Hello guys, I have a big problem using PowerPoint 2007 on my Toshiba
Satellite Pro U200.

Yesterday I formatted my PC, installed again Windows Xp and all the udpates
till SP3, installed Microsoft Office 2007 and all the updates.

All the Office apps works fine, Word, Excell, Outlook but I have a big
problem with PowerPoint.
I opened a PowerPoint file and try to edit it, writing some words the cursor
moves but no words are written on the slide that I'm editing.
To be able to view what I have wrote, I have to go to another slide and then
coming back to the previous that I have edited, I can see what I have written
before.

Can anyone help me to solve this problem?? I tryed almost everything but I
still have this amazing problem.

I tryed also with a new empty file but the problem is always the same.

Hello John,
thank you for your reply but unfortunatly I still have the problem with
PowerPoint.

The printer is an HP 1320n and I reinstalled the PLC6 driver, set it as the
default printer but nothing changed.

If somebody can help me I'll appreciate very much.
