Many people, myself included, seem to feel that Microsoft screwed up
when they released PPT 2007 for the PC. Too much is different previous
versions, the menu structure is too different than what we are used
to, and it is not very intuitive at all. I can't stand the way the
menu system jumps around, along with other features that bug the cr*p
out of me.
I was VERY pleased to see that when they released 2008 for the Mac,
they did not inflict this kind of injustice. The menu system is very
much like 2004 on the Mac.
This leads me to wonder why Microsoft was kinder to Mac users than
they were to PC users when they upgraded to 2008. It also makes me
wonder what we are in store for with the NEXT upgrade on the PC side.
I suppose it's too much to hope for them to revert back to the more
standard menu structure.
What do YOU guys think?
