PowerPoint 2007 Text placement error

Has anyone ever seen where PowerPoint 2007 will shift the text in the title
or body text bar within a slide outside the box location and when you edit
the text it actually cuts the text in half horizontally until you exit the
text box you are editing?

I am having a problem with this on an Office 2007 image - it does the same
for multiple powerpoints and other work laptops with the same image are not
(Supposedly) presenting the same problem. All updates have been installed
and can't figure out where else to go.

Can you please help?
