PowerPoint 2008 Hyperlink Warning

I am re-posting this issue in hopes that Microsoft is going to soon remedy the problem -- viz., that when you insert a hyperlink into a PP presentation to another PP file, then attempt to activate the link when in presentation mode, you get a warning about opening other files that may potentially contain viruses.

The problem is that we would like to disable this warning window. Something else I would add is that when using a Hiro or other presentation device, along with buttons that activate the link in the presentation, it is awkward to have to scroll over to click "OK" before the link activates. Really, one either needs to be able to disable this warning pane; or, it needs to be done away with altogether.

Is there any means by which we who are having this problem can be advised when a fix is made available?

Thanks.

Use the contact us link on your Help menu to explain to MS directly why this is
a problem for you. Somebody there thinks it's a *feature*. They need to be
persuaded otherwise.

Posting here is preaching to the choir ... anybody who's run into this KNOWS
what a loser it is. But we're just civilians here, not MS employees.
