Powerpoint 2008 Not saving Font changes...

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I have a Powerpoint file that does not save changes to Fonts.

Specifically, I have two embedded charts that have 'Show Value" enabled for each data set. the Default value for the font size is 18pt Arial, Horizontal Orientation. I want it to be 12 pt Arial and in some cases in a vertical orientation. I can make the changes in Powerpoint Save the file. Close the file and then re-open it only to have the fonts set back to 18pt & Horizontal.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?
