I am running PowerPoint 2008, v. 12.2.1 on my MacBook Pro with 2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4 GB of SDRAM.
I have a presentation file that I have been working with for a couple months now without problem or incident. Then, this morning all of a sudden, when I open this presentation and click on any text box on any slide, the program hangs up and loops. The only way out is to force it to quit.
I have tried duplicating the problem file, making a new file and importing the presentation with and without a new background. I have also tried doing a custom reinstall of just the PowerPoint program. Nothing has is working.
The assistance of forum members is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Neil Anderson
