Where did the geniuses at MS hide the selection tools (marquee, lasso)?
in the old power point it was in the "picture" part of the formatting palette under "selection".

Hi,

These are among the most useful tools of the core of Microsoft Office IMHO.

It was too hard for Microsoft to bring these valuable tools the dual-binary
version of Office. They went to the trash can, unfortunately. They are not
in Office 2008.

You can let Microsoft know that you wish they had not removed these tools by
sending feedback to Microsoft. Here¹s the URL:

Use File > Save As and choose the file type PowerPoint package.

That makes a folder. Zip the folder (right click on it in Finder and choose
³archive² (Tiger) or ³compress² (Leopard).

Send the zipped folder.
