PowerPoint and Blackboard

I created and uploaded a PowerPoint slide show on to Blackboard for my students to view, however they are unable to do so. The file should be displayed as a Read-Only file to them but when they click on the ppt link nothing happens, the slide show never loads for them to view. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments on this situation?

Hi,

Is there a link you can post for us to look at?

I'm sorry that I'm not using blackboard at my current university
But I was using Blackboard last year, and I did post PPT slide
"sucessfully" on it then, so it can be done
There were a few problems - mostly with animation - and I'
guessing this was because the students did not have th
2002 version of PPT on their computers. You might tr
something with the 2003 viewer, but it wasn't available at th
time
I believe BBoard has a straight-forward "bulletin board" function, s
my suggestion is just to post your slides there and tell student
how to download the viewer from microsoft. Somebody reading thi
probably has the address at the tip of their keyboard.
