PowerPoint and DVD creating.

I'm new to the idea of PowerPoint and haven't bought it yet. I need to find
out if I can do what I need to do before I spend that kind of money. A
relative has created a picture family tree and we want to add his voice to
the files so we can then put the whole thing on DVDs. Is this possible? I use
Nero to burn my own movies to DVD. Are there any online tutorials that
explain how PowerPoint does this?

Thanks.

Thanks a lot TAJ. I'm hoping to make it easy. We old folks need to do this so
it's recorded for the younger generation. Everyone is waiting for this.
There's a lot of information on the PPT presentation that will forever be
lost if we don't do this soon. We aren't getting any younger. <S> We are 80
and 61, that's 141 years combined information.
