Powerpoint and Word automatic shutdown

Can you please tell me how to fix this? Every time I use Powerpoint and
almost every time I use Word show this error message upon closing: PPT/Word
has experienced an error and needs to close. What gives?

Hi Sandy -

Someone might be be able to help if you'd disclose what specific versions of
the program & OS you're having the problem with. Based on the source of your
message it isn't even clear whether you're using a Mac or a PC.

Thanks, CyberTaz, and sorry. It's a PC and it's Office 2007 in Windows XP.

This one caters to the Mac version
