Powerpoint and Word

Michael

Hi,

Although I've had no trouble creating the Word Document from the
Powerpoint presentation - trying to make subsequent additions of
slides has so far proved impossible.

I've tried Insert/Object/Create New (Slide or Presentation). But
after building/importing/pasting your slide in the floating window
that Word opens up - How do you close the window and have it pop the
object into the document at the cursor point?

I've also tried Insert/Object/Create from File but this just drops the
object into the document in a 'ghost' fashion meaning that only the
bottom edge is visible and 95% of it is hidden under previous text.
I've tried dropping .bmps into the same doc with the same problem.

I'm using Word/Powerpoint 2003. Can anyone help here?

Regards and BTIA

Michael.

Hi Michael,

You should see the PowerPoint object in the Word document rather than
opening in another window.

Try starting Word using the /a switch and see if the same behavior
occurs. Go to Start/Run and run

winword /a

Note the space before the forward slash.
