Powerpoint broadcast

I'm trying to use broadcast with Powerpoint 2000. The lobby page shows OK for
the audience, but the presentation does not start.
This is a less than 15 clients presentation and a common file server folder
is used for the html generated presentation. The audience starts the
presentation with the following url:
\\haufs01aex\usera\data\PLC\Infotavl\HV10078Hvilerom\broadcast20060906082612\INFOTAVLE\default.htm
I'm wordering if thereis some security matter for Internet Explorer
(ver:6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.050301-1526CO)which is causeing the problems
