Powerpoint bug ?

Problem: file suddenly disappears from folder (and from computer...)
after a save as and close the document. This is the time that happens
in Office 2004 but had the same problem in office X. Thank very much
for any help.

The same thing just happened to me. I checked everywhere I could
think of but the file is gone. My autorecovery options are on -- why
wasn't that working? This is a serious bug that should be fixed.

it could indicate directory damage... Did you check the drive with a
good disk utility ??
