PowerPoint cannot open <filepath> becausepart of the file is missing

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel

Have been working on this presentation with no problems for awhile. I added in some photos and a video clip and saved it, then after a system restart am unable to open the file and receive this error "PowerPoint cannot open <filepath> because part of the file is missing. Have tried to create a copy, rename, insert into new blank presentation, but no resolution. Any suggestions? Thanks!

The same thing just happened to me with PowerPoint X for Mac on a G5 iMac and
OS-x 10.4
