PowerPoint Compatibility

I am running PowerPoint 2004 for MAC version 11.3.5. When Windows users open my PowerPoint files with embedded excel spreadsheets, the spreadsheet formats always get messed up. I use the toolbox compatibility check function but none of the embedded spreadsheets come up as having a potential problem. Is there a way to ensure that the spreadsheets will keep the format between MAC and Windows PowerPoint.

Depending on what you mean by "Formats", the answer is "No".

It's a bug.

They claim they can't fix it.
