PowerPoint Corruption

Hello
I have PowerPoint 2002 SP3.

I have hundreds of presentations.

They all worked perfectly yesterday.
Now 50% of them will not open.
No error message.
Nothing in event viewer.
They just hang and will not open.

I can repair them with Recovery for Powerpoint tool. This will take days to
identify and repair problem presentations.

I've tried with PowerPoint 2003 SP2 and still the same problem.

I've tried on PC's that have received Octobers patch and those that haven't.

The same thing happens.

Does anyone have any ideas?

It's driving me insane!!
