I am having trouble cutting and pasting spreadsheets from Excel to PP. If I do get them across they are very blurry and in some instances I get a part of the spreadsheet and not all. I have tried setting the area in Excel and I am using special past function. Suggestions please?

Hello, the only thing I can think of here is that you are resizing the inserted Excel object which is making the text resized blurry. I do not repro this myself.

You also might want to try Format | Table and under the Size tab select "Lock aspect ratio" and see if that makes a difference.

Hi Phil and thanks for the posting. I have now played around with this further and found that you get clear results if you use past special and choose PDF format not Excel spreadsheet and then re size to fit. Not sure why but this works. On windows based machines you get more choice of past formats which are not available in the Mac version of Powerpoint for some reason. Any idea why this is and if it is logged as a bug?

Martin.
