POWERPOINT DOCUMENT SIZE INCREASING WHEN CONVERTED TO PDF FILE.

I CURRENTLY HAVE A POWERPOINT DOCUMENT OF 9.6MB AND I WANT TO CONVERT TO A PDF FILE FOR EASY EMAIL USE. WHEN CONVERTEDD TO PDF THE FILE INCREASES TO ABOUT 12MB. HOW CAN I AMKE THIS PDF FILE ABOUT 2MB

The best way to do this is to make the file a .PS (Postscript) and then run it through distiller. I did the same to a 25MB file and it brought it down to 1.7MB! I believe this is only available through Acrobat Pro.

Another option is to open the file in Acrobat Pro and tell it to "Make Smallest File Size" but that doesn't always take off too much.
