Help! I have a 300 page powerpoint presentation. When I get to page 178 suddenly, where my picture's are I have the following message: "The image part with relationship ID rid3 was not found in the file".

All my photos are on iphoto, which are still on the computer. If anybody knows what to do, please let me know.

Also, can powerpoint have over 300 slides with photos on them?? Is it to much? thanks so much

How did the photos get into PowerPoint, though?

Yes. It's best if the sizes of the photos are optimized before inserting them,
though.

Probably. Sitting through 300 slides at one stretch puts a lot of wear and tear on the
back pockets of anyone's jeans.

Steve,

Thanks for the response. I have 4 powerpoint files, three are fine. Only this one is the problem, and I entered the photo's all the same way. I take the photo from iphoto, drag it to my desktop, and then drag the photo into my slide. When I am done, i delete the photo's from my desktop. I thought that may be the problem, but it is not. It's just this one file that the photo's disappear and I get the message on.

My powerpoint file is for a seven hour seminar. Do you think it is best to split the presentation into two files? Would that help?

thanks

OK, for starters, don't do that. To get photos into PPT, you want to use the
Insert command rather than dragging them in. I can't promise that doing it that
way will solve the problem but at least it won't be creating problems
unnecessarily. Odd expression, that. Are there problems that're necessary to
create? ;-)

I certainly would do that.
