Powerpoint Features from 2004 for Mac

New to my iMac...I had previously used a feature on my PC with Office
XP to add multiple jpegs to powerpoint, all at one time, creating a
slide show. Jpegs formatted automatically to the slides directly from
a file. Is this feature available on Powerpoint 2004 for Mac? I can't
seem to find it, or get an error message that the file is corrupt, in
use, or cannot be used by powerpoint. Any suggestions?

The option you want to use is not included with PowerPoint for Mac. I
wrote an add-in that accomplishes what you are seeking.
