Powerpoint for MAC - where does it store the autosave files?

T

Tom

Hi there
does anyone know where powerpoint saves the autosave files (it seems I
can only chose the timing of autosave e.g. 5min. but not the location).

Cheers

Dear Guys,

I have not had success in using the Keyboard Shortcuts on Powerpoint.

I follow the instructions precisely but to no avail. For example, I wish to
use Ctrl-V to view slide shows.

Any idea?

I am using Tiger, PB-G4, MS Office 2004.

Thanks.

I don't think that Control-V is a valid shortcut in PowerPoint. Check the
article "Keyboard Shortcuts" in PowerPoint Help under the Help menu to find
a list of shortcuts.

Stupid me. Thanks for the tip.

However, I was actually referring to using the System Preferences==>Keyboard
& Mouse==>Keyboard Shortcuts.

Plus, sorry for asking a non Powerpoint question, I tried to do the above on
Eudora but failed too.

Hi,

The file path is
UserName:Library:preferences:Microsoft:Microsoft:powerPoint Temp

The file might be hidden. PowerPoint looks for this file when it opens,
and if it finds it then it will open the file with the name "Recovered
File ..."
