Does anyone know how to password protect powerpoint
presentations please? All the help options point to a
security tab which doesn't exist on Powerpoint X For Macs.

Thanks

Mac versions of PPT can't apply passwords to files or open Windows PPT files
that have had passwords applied.

There are some other options here:

Most of them are also Windows-only solutions, but there are a couple tricks
that might help protect your work on Mac as well.

In any case, all password protection can be broken one way or another.
You can make it difficult for people but not impossible ...
