Powerpoint getting stuck

Hi-

I have a web application where i am adding slides from the
different ppts into one. For a few slides the powerpoint
just hangs up and server times out. The same set of code
and the slides work fine on other servers. The
conifguration on all the m/c s is the same.

USing office XP on win2k.

Any help on this is appreciated

In particular, it contains a paragraph, in bold, that reads:

Microsoft does not currently recommend, and does not support,
Automation of Microsoft Office applications from any unattended, non-
interactive client application or component (including ASP, DCOM, and
NT Services), because Office may exhibit unstable behavior and/or
deadlock when run in this environment.
