I want to have my PowerPoint grab an image from my web site without
downloading it into the presentation. Normally if this was an HTML doc i
would use something like :
<tr align="center" valign="middle">
<td height="90"><a href="mailing.html"><img
src="images/subscribe.gif" width="367" height="26" border="0"></a></td>
</tr>

Since this is a PowerPoint how do I have the presentation grab the image on
a specific page on my site every time the PPT is opened. The web site
automatically rotates the image so each time the PPT is opened a new image
would be shown. Thank you for any advice, in advance.

Thank you Austin. 2 quick questions.

1) If I insert a browser control, will the image show up as if I just
inserted it in the page or would it look as if a brower was opened? The
image is just part of the page and it has to be free floating to give the
full effect.

2) Is there a URL with instructions on inserting a web browser control?

Thank you vry much for your help.

Depends how you set the controls properties and any code you attach to it.
Will also depend on how the image is displayed on the web page.

From the "Controls Toolbox" (May have to turn it on in the View menu) select
the more controls icon and it will list all the controls available. Scroll
through the list to you see "Microsoft web Browser". Click it and then draw
it to size desired on you slide. Right click it and select "Properties" to
adjust as desired.

I do appreciate your help and hate being a clueless but I think we are
talking about different versions on PPT because the items/buttons you
mentioned do not exist and I search for them with no success. I am running
office Pro 2007 version of PPT.

I cannot find the "Controls Toolbox" (it is not in the View menu) and hence
I can not find the "Microsoft web Browser". Where would it be located in
PPT 2007? Thanks you very much.
