PowerPoint hanging in OSX

I brought up powerpoint last night by opening a PC
generated .ppt sent in an e-mail. I can look at the
presentation (3 slides) in the slide sorter view. Whe I go
to the slide view, power point locks up with the spinning
wheel and I have to force quit it. When I create a new
presentation and go to slide view, again power point locks up.

Any ideas on how I can debug this? Excel and Word work fine.

Hi Ron,

Perhaps there is something not right in that presentation.

Try opening a new, blank presentation and then use Insert > Slides From File
and see if you can import the slides from the broken presentation into the
clean one. It might cure the ill.
