I am having an issue playing back ppt files saved as web pages on a couple of
PCs. They all have similar specs and some play the html powerpoint fine with
no white flashes between loading pages, but some have noticeable white
flashes between pages.
I noticed that when playing the slides back in vista, there is never any
white page transitions. It is only happening on the XP machines.
On one of the machines, the picture quality was poor, so after looking
around I noticed it was using the poor quality pictures that are saved along
side of the high quality pictures. I then looked in the code an noticed that
it was checking for VML. Once I installed VML, it got rid of the poor quality
picture issue, but I still am having a problem with the white flashes in
between the transitions.
I have installed the msorun.exe Office Animation Runtime and that fixed the
issue on one computer, but I am still seeing it on 2 computers, both are Dual
core PCs with a gig of Ram. One of them is Embedded XP.
I am wondering if there is some other setting that the html, or script.js is
checking for on my PC?
Any help would be appreciated.
