I'm using powerpoint 2003. I'm not a very sophisticated user, so please bear
with me… lol
I’ve created a ppt file (I’ll call it the parent file) that contains
hyperlinks to other ppt files (I’ll call them children files)
If I create all the files (parent and children files) in let’s say, the
C:\myfiles folder and setup the hyperlinks there, everything works fine. The
problem appears if I move the parent file to a different folder. If I make a
folder named c:\myfiles\test and put the parent there, the hyperlinks to the
children ppt files break.
Is this the way it’s supposed to work? What I’d like to do is create a ppt
file that hyperlinks to other ppt files that are on a shared drive. I’d like
to be able to send the parent ppt file that contains the hyperlinks to other
people, but once I move the parent ppt file from the folder that I created
the hyperlinks in and send it to someone else, all the links break. How do I
fix this behavior?
Thanks, Glenn
