PowerPoint in Office 2004 for Mac keeps crashing.

This is in regards to PowerPoint 2004 Mac Student/Teacher Edition
under OS X 10.3.5.

PowerPoint crashes while opening a file no matter what type of
PowerPoint file I try to open. Doesn't matter whether it's a file from
an older version or any of the sample files included. I've tried just
dragging the PowerPoint package on to the hard drive from the CD and
reinstallin the entire app so all of the support files are also
copied. Nothing works. Any ideas?

Sorry about the duplicate, IE crashed right after posting the question
the first time so I didn't know about the minimum 3 hour delay before

I have the same problem and cannot solve it. Anybody know the solution? I
not, think this product is not usable and Microsoft should return the money.
Thye just advertise the wrong information about compatibility between PC
and Mac Office. It violates the law in the US where we can sue them.
