Powerpoint in Publisher

I am trying to get a powerpoint to run within my publisher webpage. I
beleive that I am on the right track, but I just cannot get it to play for
me. I have created a powerpoint presentation object and edited it within
Pub, and I have set the slides to change on their own every two seconds, but
when I preview my page, it just sits there like a .jpg. Anyone know of
anything?

Try saving the PP presentation as html (in PP) then insert it as a html
fragment...good luck though.

I doubt that will work. However if you uploaded the html output from the PP
presentation to a subfolder on the site, you could import it to a Pub page
using an iframe. I don't use PP. Does it output multiple files when
converted to html?

Otherwise, the user will just have to upload it, link to the PP file, and
then hope the viewer has the viewer or PP installed.

Alright, thanks guy, I will definitely try that. I know i should probably
just make something in flash, but i was hoping there was an easy way just to
do some slides. Flash takes so long to make look good and make work. and i
was hoping by doing powerpoint, it wouldnt mess with activex and all that for
people viewing it. Really appreciate it.

Probably not in Publisher web, but it works in other web editors...but PP
doesn't produce the cleanest html either.
