Powerpoint is very slow -> HELP!!

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

Help, I'm working on simple 60slide Presentation and Powerpoint 2008 on Leopard runs really really slow... for e.g.: I typ a word and about 2-3secondes after I typed it on the keyboard the word appears on the screen... What can I do?

There have been a few reports like this.

Please use help > send feedback to Microsoft and include contact
information. They may want a copy of your System Profile, as this could
be related to specific hardware such as graphics cards and displays.
