When I save a Theme, it is automatically stored in the location "Library >...> User Templates > My Themes". This is working fine. However, I have had the need to delete a number of Themes from my system. To do so, I have gone to the aforementioned folder and trashed the unwanted Theme files (and emptied the Trash). They no longer exist on my system. I have done a search in Finder, using the old Theme names, and have gotten no results. They are gone.
HOWEVER, when I open PowerPoint, those out-dated, unwanted, thrown-away Themes are still showing up in my Custom Themes menu. Why is that? I have quit and re-started PowerPoint. I have made sure that I deleted the unwanted Theme files. But they will not go away.
I'm sure this is just another way that Microsoft is "helping" me. How do I make it stop? Is there some sort of hidden cache in PowerPoint that I can clear?
Thanks,
Scott
