I've seen a number of discussions on this forum and others related to PowerPoint Narrations that mysteriously cut off recordings from some slides. It's random on both the slides it cuts off and the time at which they are cut. All I have seen in forums is that Microsoft is aware of the issue. Does anyone know if there is a fix out for it? Thanks.

I am having the same problem and can not find an answer either. I
hope someone out there has the answer and is willing to share it.

This is not an answer, but it is a treatment for the symptom! I have
learned that if I open the ppt presentation and run each audio/video
once through AND KEEP THE PROGRAM OPEN from then on, they play just
fine. Once I close the program, I lose one second or so at the end of
the clip. If you try this to see if it works for you, please post
back. Good luck!

That hasn't worked either. The first try and subsequent trys were without ever closing out PowerPoint. Each time it cut off different slides and in different amounts.

The final solution was to record the Narration on a PC running Office/PowerPoint 2003. I guess M$ doesn't care enough about Mac users to give them software that works.
