I'm having troubles with my Powerpoint 2008 (v12.1.5). When I try to open files located somewhere on my network home folder (Desktop, Documents, Downloads, etc.) it gives me the following error:
"Powerpoint cannot open the type of file represented by <File_Path>".
Of course, the document does not open. However, if I copy the files on a local volume, it opens without a hitch.
Anyone has an idea why Powerpoint has problems with files on a network home folder ? Any idea on how to solve the problem ?
BTW, I've checked the file permissions as well as the application's permissions and everything is OK.
Thanks
