Powerpoint not showing video on PLASMA screen

Hi everyone,

We run a powerpoint presentation inside our student union that allows
departments, campus organizations, and athletics to advertise on our Plasma
screens.

We recently were asked if we could insert a video showing off a new building
that is to be built next year.

The file is a .wmv file and displays normally on the computer. Yet when
viewed on the plasma screen, there is only a black box where the video should
be.

Any ideas as to why the video plays normally on the computer, but not on the
plasma screen?

I would have to say it must be how you have it hooked to your computer. I
use plasmas directly connected as a monitor to computers all the time and I
have no problems with movies of all types including WMV.
