PowerPoint PC files a Mac

Several slide shows are being sent around that were generated on a PC
with PowerPoint. They play on a Mac version of PowerPoint but the sound
does not work. I even tried Apple's Keynote and had the same problem.

Hopefully, this major disconnect between the PC and Mac version of
PowerPoingt will be corrected in a future version.

As long as Window users insist on using proprietary file formats you can't
expect Mac software developers top support them all. Those that are viable
normally work fine if you have the appropriate player software. Take a look
here and see if it doesn't rectify your problem:

I went to the link and it was for flip4Mac that lets you play WMP files
with the QuickTime Player and this has nothing to do with sounds embedded
in PC generated PowerPoint slide shows. There is something hosed big
time in the PC PowerPoint or the Mac PowerPoint.
