PowerPoint Picture question

Presentation is edited in PowerPoint 2007 and saved as a .ppt. PNG pictures
are inserted to several slides. When the slides are opened in PowerPoint
2003, the images can't be viewed. If the image is a JPG, it can be viewed.
Is there some way to view PNG images in PowerPoint 2003?

Do you have at least SP1 installed for Office 2003?

Oh, and are they CMYK JPGs? Those sometimes cause problems...

What could be the differences between CMYB & RGB that cause what Barb said?
And what about the other way to code colors (Tint, Saturation, Hue)?

Oh, and are they CMYK JPGs? Those sometimes cause problems...

I don't know, but I do know that CMYK JPGs sometimes do strange things in
PPT. They band, they don't show up, etc.

Ah, you're right -- I forgot Barb said the JPGs work, it's the PNGs that are
the problem. Duh.

Do the PNGs contain any type of transparency?
