Powerpoint .pps with Vista sidebar

I want the vista sidebar to stay locked on top during a .pps I have sidebar
setting set to always on top and this works for basically ever app I run
EXCEPT powerpoint. Any ideas are welcome. My internet research is not
providing answers so far.
