PowerPoint Presentation to DVD

I have a large presentation (600 slides) that I want to
put on a DVD. It includes sound (.wav), .jpg images, and
PP text.

The CD capture/PPView requires multiple CD's; hence my
desire to get it on one DVD. I considered putting it on
VHS but don't want to lose HD resolution that is achieved
w/DVD.

I purchased the third-party DVD X-Point from 321 Labs. The
package seems to work well until I get to the "burn" step -
then it give me "Problem loading Project to Burn...File
Corrupted? Damaged?" I have a Radeon 9600 w/256 mb
memory graphics card and am working off a MSI K8T Neo 3200
mother board with 2gb memory in an XP Home OS. Have
turned off all background programs (firewall, virus
software, etc.) and still getting the abend result. The
log shows that the process goes through all the slides and
crashes at the start of the Burn step.

321 has gone under and I cannot get adequate (any??)
support.

My questions is in two parts: (1) Has anyone successfully
used the 321 package for large presentations?, and (2) Is
there a good product out there that will help me get this
large (but outstanding) PP presentation to DVD?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Does it need to be on a DVD that will play on your TV, or can you burn all of
the files to a DVD along with the PowerPoint Viewer, which will play on
computers with DVD drives?

Why not try PowerPoint2DVD ? I think it is better than DVDX point.
you can go to http://www.powerpoint-to-dvd.com to have a look.

PowerPoint2DVD can convert your ppt presentation to mpeg format and burn
to DVD or miniDVD discs, with all your backgrounds and keep the original
effects. Just go and have a try!
