Powerpoint problem with Office 2007 B2TR install

I have been using Office 2007 B2 for several months with no problems.
Yesterday I downloaded and installed the B2TR. Outlook, Excel, Word all work
fine however when I open Powerpoint, I get the error message "Powerpoint
found an error it can't correct. You should save presentations, quit, then
restart Powerpoint". When I select OK, the application opens up with the
ribbion bar intact and working but the Office button is greyed out. As a
result I am unable to open, save, or print any PPT files. This error occurs
whether I open Powerpoint directly or by clicking on an existing PPT file. I
have tried repair, uninstall, and reinstall from control panel with no
change. Any suggestions to fix?

Mine works ok now. Here is what I did. When I tried to use install/uninstall,
I got an error saying that the installation files were corrupt and I needed
to reinstall from original CD. When I tried that I got another error messages
saying it could not complete. Since everything was working ok before I tried
to install B2TR, I finally decided to use System Restore to go back to a date
prior to loading B2TR. After doing this everything seemed to be back to
normal and working, except now all the Office apps are UPDATED to B2TR even
though I went back to a restore point before it was loaded! I don't think I
will mess with anything else until Office goes RTM.
