Powerpoint problem

Hello,

I have 2004 student teacher addition to office. When someone sends
me a powerpoint presentation lately my new imac freezes up. I was
able to view powerpoint presentations until about 2 weeks ago. Can
anyone offer help on how to fix this problem?

Was anything changed on your computer about 2 weeks ago? New software?
