PowerPoint + QuickTime

Deniz

Hi, I have received a PowerPoint presentation in which a
pic was embedded. I, however, cannot see it and instead
get the message "QuickTime and TIFF decompressor
required". Do anyone know what I need to do?

Thanks...

Usually you see this on a PC that's trying to open a Mac-created PowerPoint
file. On older Macs, you may also see this if QuickTime is disabled.

If on Mac, you'd need to enable Quicktime.
If on PC, you'll need to get the file's creator to delete the problem image(s),
resave them w/o QT compression, then re-insert them into PowerPoint.

[Aside: Jim? Mickey? Anyone? Does the Compatibility Checker in PPT2004 bark
at images that use QT compression?]
